Just North of Castlegar off Highway 6 along the upper Arrow Lakes .

Climate

Winters are mild when compared to other Kootenay communities due largely to its close proximately to a large body of water. All around temperatures are moderate July and August are typically the hottest months. Average January temperatures reach just below zero and are considered to be the coolest month. June is the wettest overall yet average perception is moderate.
