Cranbrook is home to 3 arenas, the Rec Plex, Kinsman, and Memorial the programs being offered are for all ages and include hockey, figure skating and public skating. Off season these arenas are utilized for various community events
- Swimming - The community Rec Plex’s Aquatic Center features a wave pool, slide, diving boards and separate hot tub.
- Walking - is considered the best form of exercise and the Rec Plex arena has proven to be a convenient place to do just that. Due to increased usage the arena has extended its hours to accommodate this popular activity open daily from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
- Curling – Love to curl or want to learn? Join the Cranbrook curling club at their very own rink.
- Juniper Lanes – 16 automatic lanes
Outdoor Recreation
- Snowmobiling – Trails throughout the Perry Creek and Lumberton areas make these locations hot spots for this sport.
- Golfing – There are three 18 hole courses and one 9 hole course within close proximately of the City
- Trails – The beautifully maintained community Forrest is home to several mapped and marked walking/hiking/biking trails. Families can enjoy walking, rollerblading or biking their way through the Rotary Way’s seemingly endless maze of paved trails which wind throughout the city and its parks.
